My online class has no content

If you have logged in and discovered your online class has no content in it, that can be frustrating. If this happens to you, try these tips:

Face-to-face Classes

Some face-to-face classes use Blackboard. If you have a face-to-face class and expect to see content in Blackboard, you may want to confirm with the instructor if and when content will be available.

Online and Hybrid Classes

If your class is online or hybrid the course content should be in Blackboard. If you can not see any lessons, but you can see a Welcome message and/or a Syllabus section, you may need to unlock your first lesson by first completing activities in the Syllabus section. Be sure to follow your instructor's directions for unlocking Lesson 1.

Seriously... the course is empty

If your course is online or hybrid and has no content at all, there might be an issue. Sometimes an instructor does not get their course content uploaded in time for the first day of class. If that happens, please reach out to Online Learning and let us know.
