I cannot see the first lesson

Most online courses at MHCC begin with syllabus orientation activities that may include an introduction post and reply, a student information survey and a syllabus quiz.

Often, completing a syllabus quiz or marking syllabus pages as reviewed release the first lesson and its activities. If the first lesson is unavailable to you, take the following steps:

  1. Read any information at the top of the home page. Typically, you will see getting started instructions that detail any required steps for accessing course content.

  2. Locate and complete the syllabus quiz. You may need to repeat until you earn a specific score to release the first lesson.

  3. Check Syllabus and Schedule pages for the Mark Reviewed option. Click the Mark Reviewed button at the bottom of required pages.

  4. Contact Online Learning if you are still having trouble viewing the lesson.
